Disc Golf installation in Mair Park

The Prince Albert Cosmopolitan Club has completed another recreational venue. They have installed a Disc Golf Course in Mair Park along River Street West. Chairman Clair Middleton organized the project including selecting the location and installation with the City. It will provide more recreational facilities in the otherwise spacious park. It is an inexpensive game to play while enjoying exercise outdoors. The purchase of the equipment and its installation cost the Club $9,000. Cosmos dug holes, mixed cement, place basket holders in the holes and filled them with concrete. Signs indicating each of the nine holes were erected. Job well done and the children arrived to throw their discs.
