Cosmo Football Pool

The Prince Albert Cosmopolitan 7th Annual Football Pool goes on sale February 28th. It gives you 21 games for $20.. There are over 350 winning scores ranging from $20 to $200 plus the final Grey Cup score of $1,000. Profits are directed to local Cosmo projects including SPAC, Littler Red River )Cosmopolitan Place, Red River Roping & Riding., Diabetes Research through the Cosmopolitan Foundation.

Ticket can be bought from any club members. You may get them at out weekly ticket sales location at Lake Country Coop food stores or liquor store.

Salvation Army Donation

Daily Herald

The Prince Albert Cosmopolitan Club has donated $6,000 to the Salvation Army in Prince Albert for the specific purpose of replacing the ceiling tiles in the Church building. The club raised the money through football lotteries and bingos. Club president Guy Mounce said the decision was an easy one.

“We always like to support community initiatives and Salvation Army is definitely a leader in supporting the needy personal in our city so we can get behind them pretty easily,”

2024 Cosmo Day

Cosmos Al Porter and Art Brassard are all set up to give away doughnuts and juice boxes at our local Coop food store. We had a very successful day and managed to give away 24 dozen doughnuts and juice boxes. Cosmo Al handed out information brochures about our club and people stopped and checked out our display board. I think it was a very effective on getting information about who we are out in the public.

2024 Donation to Cosmo Foundation

On July 19th 2024 the Prince Albert Cosmopolitan Club presented a check for $5000 to the Cosmopolitan Foundation Canada Inc. to support the research for the cure for Diabetes. This money is used by the University of Edmonton and California for the research to find a cure.

The Prince Albert Cosmopolitan Club has been serving the Prince Albert and surrounding areas for over 85 years. During that time we have assisted: Cosmopolitan Place and Cosmo Lodge in the Little Red Park, the Rose Garden Hospice, the Victoria Hospital through their Foundation, Seniors Homes at Mont St. Joseph and Carment Court, Seniors Transportation with 2 Miles for Mary, Kids Fest in the Park, Prince Albert Female under 18 Hockey Team, SPCA, Vintage Power, RRRR Equine Arena, is a short list.
